USPYE (“USPYE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website uspye.com (the “Site”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1) Information We Collect

a) Information you provide

  • Account & profile data (if you create an account or forum profile): name, username, email, password.
  • Forms & inquiries: content of messages you send through our contact forms, surveys, polls, or “Submit a Tip” forms (including attachments).
  • Community content (if enabled): posts, comments, messages, reactions.
  • Newsletter sign-ups: email address and preferences.
  • Payments/donations (if enabled): billing name, address, and limited details handled by our payment processor (we do not store full card numbers).

b) Information collected automatically

  • Log and device data: IP address, browser type, device/OS, referral URLs, pages viewed, and timestamps.
  • Cookies & similar tech: small files used for session management, analytics, preferences, and security.
  • Analytics: we may use tools such as {Google Analytics/Matomo/Jetpack} to understand traffic and usage patterns.

c) AI chatbot interactions (AI Engine)

  • The questions you ask and the assistant’s responses may be processed by our AI service provider to generate answers and maintain session context. Do not share sensitive personal data in chat.

d) Tips and sensitive submissions

  • You may submit tips anonymously. If you include personal data, you do so voluntarily. For your safety, do not submit Social Security numbers, bank details, passwords, medical records, or information that could put you or others at risk.

2) How We Use Your Information

We use information to:

  • Provide, secure, and maintain the Site, forums, and chatbot.
  • Respond to inquiries and operate “Submit a Tip.”
  • Moderate community spaces, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms.

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not share tipster identity publicly. If you submit a tip containing personal data about others, you confirm you have a lawful basis to share it.

  • Functional/Community cookies for forums, polls, and saved settings.

  • Accounts & forum content: retained while your account is active. You may request deletion (see Your Rights).
  • Tips & submissions: retained as long as reasonably necessary for review, follow-up, legal compliance, or archiving of matters of public interest. Anonymous tips may be stored without identifiers.
  • Logs/analytics: typically retained for {30–180} days, or as configured for security/diagnostics.
  • Backups: stored for limited periods then overwritten.

7) Your Choices & Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

  • Access and obtain a copy of your data.
  • Correct, update, or delete data.
  • Object to or restrict processing.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Port data in a commonly used format.

California (CPRA): you have rights to know, delete, correct, and limit use of sensitive data. We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

13) “Submit a Tip” Notice

  • Submitting a tip does not create a reporter–source privilege, attorney–client, or law-enforcement relationship with USPYE.
  • We are an independent information site, not a government agency.
  • Consider your safety; remove metadata from files if needed. If you fear immediate harm or an emergency, contact local authorities first.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be announced on the Site or by email.
